THE PARISH COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO INFORM ALL RESIDENTS THAT THE PLAY EQUIPMENT AT THE RECREATION GROUND HAS BEEN REMOVED DUE TO HEALTH AND SAFETY CONCERNS.

Village WhatsApp Information Group

There is a village WhatsApp Group that allows news, information, and advice to be circulated instantly among residents.  Whilst this was originally set up as an idea from the Parish Council, it is not used for Parish Council business, discussions, or decision-making. The appropriate channels for these matters are our website, regular meetings, and the published meeting minutes.

Your privacy is taken very seriously.  The group is for residents of Collier Street only, and not for family members or friends outside the village.

By joining the group, members will have their name and telephone number visible to other group members. No information will be shared with any third parties. Any new member wishing to join, and who is put forward by an existing member, will be asked for their permission before being added.

By signing up to the group, you accept these conditions and understand that messages are only for urgent and important information — not for general chat.  Rudeness or inappropriate messages, photographs, or videos will not be tolerated.  The administrators reserve the right to remove such material and, if necessary, the participant involved.

There are currently over 180 members, and it would be great if more residents joined to help strengthen our ability to share urgent communications through this modern and versatile app.
